COURSE FINISH

Location: Mandurah Ocean Club - Doddis Beach

The beach area will be sectioned into 4 areas by flags on race day:

  • Ski. OC1 V1 and SUPS

  • OC6

  • Marshalling and TimeKeeper Tent

  • General beach area

As competitors approach the beach, we request all single craft paddlers place their canoes/skis or sups to the South of the beach in an orderly fashion and OC6 craft to the North.

Some volunteers may be available to assist in catching OC1, V1 SKI and SUP craft as paddlers come into shore and placing craft onto the sand, however, they cannot be held responsible for any damage if owners choose to leave in their care. Ultimately, placing canoes onto the designated beach area to register completion of the race, will be at the paddlers own risk and responsibility.

To complete the race, all paddlers must approach the official Marshalling tent and advise the timekeepers of their race number and surname. Each Paddler will be marked off electronically and manually by 2 dedicated timekeepers.

It is imperative all paddlers check in at this station for safety reasons as Sea Rescue will be alerted, and the paddler will be deemed missing until found.

If a paddler pulls out of the race, please call the Race Direct on 0402 299 334 so their name can be noted as accounted for and safe
